About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern use of MOAI Tribe (MOAI), including the iOS app, moaitribe.com and its member platform. The service is operated by:

Please read these terms before creating an account or participating. They explain the rules for using the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or participate through MOAI. Provide accurate information, use an email or sign-in account you control, and keep your credentials private. Do not impersonate someone else or let others use your account.
Keep your profile and availability reasonably up to date. Tell us promptly at support@moaitribe.com if you suspect unauthorised use. We may ask you to verify information where reasonably necessary to secure the account or investigate misuse.
What MOAI provides
MOAI provides tools to form small circles, send and respond to invitations, arrange gatherings, share feedback, and exchange practical offers or requests. An invitation does not guarantee a place, a particular match, or a friendship. You decide whether to accept and participate.
Circle suggestions and availability depend on participating members and community administration. Preview experiences on the public website are illustrative unless explicitly offered as an actual event. A waitlist entry is not a confirmed booking.
The current platform does not take payments for gatherings. A displayed activity cost helps participants plan; confirm any actual charges and cancellation arrangements with the organiser or venue before committing. Any future paid MOAI service will have its price and applicable terms presented before purchase.
Community conduct
Treat others respectfully, honour personal boundaries, and use the platform lawfully. MOAI has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not:
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, stalk, exploit, or deceive another person.
- Post illegal material, expose private information, infringe someone’s rights, or share content you do not have permission to use.
- Send spam, run scams, collect member details for unsolicited marketing, or misrepresent an offer or request.
- Attempt to access other accounts, bypass permissions, disrupt the service, or introduce malicious software.
Report safety concerns or unlawful content to support@moaitribe.com, including enough context for us to investigate. For an emergency, contact local emergency services. MOAI is not an emergency response service.
Gatherings and mutual support
Check the time, location, accessibility, cost, and requirements before joining a gathering. Update your RSVP if plans change. Use your judgment when meeting others, choose suitable public places, and do not share information or money you are uncomfortable sharing.
Unless expressly stated for a particular event, members or third parties arrange the activities. We do not guarantee a participant’s identity, qualifications, behaviour, or suitability. A Give / Need post is a community offer or request, not professional medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
These practical responsibilities do not remove any duty MOAI has under applicable law or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your content and other people’s privacy
You keep ownership of the content you submit. You give MOAI permission to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the service for its intended audience, handle support or safety matters, and comply with law. This permission does not authorise us to sell your content.
Share only content you have the right to share. Respect the privacy of circle discussions and ask permission before posting someone else’s photograph, contact details, or personal circumstances. Removal and retention of personal data are described in our Privacy Policy.
MOAI’s branding, design, and service software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the service as intended but may not misrepresent an association with MOAI or use its branding without permission.
Moderation and closing an account
You can report what members post, and in the MOAI app you can block any member, which also tells us. We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms, and remove the member who posted it from MOAI.
We may investigate reports, remove content, restrict features, or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, protect people or the service, or comply with law. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to ask us to review the decision. Urgent safety, legal, or security concerns may require immediate action.
You can stop using MOAI at any time. Contact support@moaitribe.com to request account closure and deletion. Leaving a circle or signing out does not automatically delete your account.
Availability and external services
We aim to keep MOAI useful and available, but maintenance, technical problems, or changes to the service may interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a specific social outcome. We may change features and will give reasonable notice of significant changes where practicable.
Google, Apple, WhatsApp, external venues, and other linked services have their own terms and privacy policies. A link does not make MOAI responsible for all of a third party’s actions.
Legal rights and resolving concerns
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or takes away mandatory consumer or privacy rights. The extent of each party’s responsibility is determined by applicable law. These terms do not require you to waive access to a court or regulator with jurisdiction.
If something goes wrong, contact support@moaitribe.com so we can try to resolve it. Include a description of the issue and relevant account or activity details, but do not send passwords.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. We will provide an appropriate notice of material changes and seek agreement where required. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights you already have. The date above identifies the current version.
